What other people said and wrote on Fernando garcín and his works:

Where to begin? Well, maybe with the first time I went to FERNANDO GARCIN'S MYSPACE page.
As an American with a Latino Heart I sensed his unique and original talent, and somehow, I felt it's counterpart with Jack Kerouac but Fernando has elegance, sincerity and a smooth demeanor, connecting and attracting all ages; I find what captivates me, every time I listen to him read his poetry, whether in English or Spanish, is that deep resonant voice spinning out like spun silk, an innocence which is a hidden component tapping into my young girl's heart. Spain's treasure belongs to my American heart.
Fernando can make the sky any color he wants to and I believe him and I am on the "A" train waving "Hello" and "Goodbye" at the same time in the silence of that pocket of my heart I reserve for FERNANDO GARCIN'S beautiful Poetry.

"Fernando...YOUR MUSIC AND VOICE...soft and gentle...easy and healing...a pure delight for my soul and calm/balm for my mind...and body...a serenity from within for all without...you sing the spark that ignites THE LIGHT which all persons have...and can truly see and hear...
feel and know the still small voice deep inside everyman/everywoman...
YOU ARE CLEARLY ONE OF THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF MUSIC AND MYSPACE! "

Dr Bob Morrisey, musical criticism (NY)

"Within the dirt there are many buried gems. I have no doubt that you are one of them. And I thank the plow, along with the new machine, that tilled this earth to bring your art into my light, but mostly I thank you
.
What I can say off the cuff, is what I have heard so far is excellent. I do wish I understood Spanish, but even without it, I find the music, which is universal, and the vocal performance, which transcends language as well, to be filled with emotions and images that a very vivid to me. "

"- a dash of leonard cohen, a bit of bob dylan in there somewhere... great stuff. i love your voice. cheers."

james
Combs, musician (USA)

"I'm putting your music back on my page so everyone can enjoy it. As it is, everyone who gets into my car falls in love with you. You are the Spanish Bob Dylan -no wonder you're playing at a kerouac Tribute."

Barbara DeCesare, poet, Pensylvania

"Fernando - you are a great poet. It would be great to meet if I could arrange some gigs. Love & Peace my friend."
Tim
Prince (musician and songwriter, Hereford, UK)

"Hi Fernando..we are inspired by you and your work as well..."

Tony White, Hitchhickers, nu-jazz, experimental and spoken word band NY & California

"I met Fernando Garcin when I was on MYSpace, just exploring music pages. He is a Spanish poet and a musician. His music and words are very beautiful and sensual and his voice and accent and spanish singing are just very exciting and romantic. He is sentimental and sweet and he is always thoughtful and caring (even to me, a simple fan who he hardly knows). I am glad that I have come to know this man who lives on the other side of the world and have written this little poem just for him. "

Fernando
By Laura J. Deutchman

Fernando sings Spanish songs to me,
He whispers in my ear.
He strumbs on his guitar so sweet,
My heart vibrates with his strings.
Then his melody and my soul dances,
across the ceiling,
like two lovers who have formed wings.

Thank-You Fernando, Your music makes me Joyous!

(Lowell, Masachusets)

I am enjoying while listening your song “No Metal en la Mina”. I feel Paris, also keyboards has atmosphere of our National City music. It sounds so familiar, like anyone can relate to what you are saying. Also there is a mixture of sorrow and joy. And the child voice is a great touch. And definitely tenderness.

And “Angel Mine” WOW. You are great singer; I mean there are only few singers in the world that can carry out a tune just with a guitar. Such refreshment, after all this productions, postproductions, filters……..so nature. Great dynamic of your voice. I really like the melody. I can listen this song over and over again all day long and more.

Música Barata, great song, recorded in 1999 (like it was recorded yesterday). Timeless. Steady drums, beautiful guitars, beautiful overlay between electric guitar and acoustic guitar. You guys sound like one.

Vieja Carretera again recorded 1999, who would tell? Again that strange felling I know the song (not bed feeling). It is like you read a good book and say to your self: “That is what I am thinking, have I wrote this”? If you know what I mean, one feel that way only while listening to great songs that can be listen over and over again. Wonderful rhythm.
Simply love it, can’t get enough.

Vesna, Belgrade, Serbia
